Dennis McKenna
Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chairman of the Board
Mr. McKenna brings more than 25 years of front-line leadership experience in high technology companies to SkyCross. Prior to joining SkyCross,
Mr.
McKenna held chairman, CEO, and president roles for ChipPAC, a semiconductor assembly and test company listed on NASDAQ; SCP Global Technologies, a VC-backed company specializing in semiconductor wafer cleaning equipment; and Silicon Graphics, a high-performance computing and storage company listed on the NYSE. Earlier in his career, McKenna held several marketing, sales, and business management positions at leading companies including Hyundai Electronics America, Oki Semiconductor, TRW Electronic Components, and E.I. DuPont. He is
a member of the board of directors of public companies Pericom Semiconductor and Smart Modular.
Mr. McKenna earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
Jeffrey Braden
Vice President of Global Operations and Quality
Mr. Braden’s 30-year career includes extensive experience in manufacturing, product development, product line management, M&A integration, and quality systems for both VC-backed start–ups and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining SkyCross, Mr. Braden was VP of operations at LV Sensors, a MEMS semiconductor company that manufactured wireless sensors for the automotive market, where he was responsible for all aspects of order fulfillment including manufacturing, supply chain management, and quality. Earlier roles included North American president of Signetics High Technology, VP of strategic operations and product line management at ChipPAC, and general manager of Olin Corporation’s Interconnect Technology business unit. Mr. Braden serves on the advisory board of MEPTEC, a semiconductor industry council, and was also a past chairman of JEDEC JC-11 and SEMI semiconductor standards committees. Mr. Braden holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Mississippi State University and graduated from the Executive Business Management program at the University of Michigan.
Frank M. Caimi, Ph.D., P.E.
Chief Scientist
Dr. Caimi
has more than 30 years of experience in antenna and RF research
and development. Most recently, he served as associate professor
of electrical engineering at Florida Institute of Technology's
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. During his
career, Dr. Caimi has served as a consultant on communications and signal
processing for industry and government organizations and has
more than 18 years experience in technical and leadership management.
He earned his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Carnegie-Mellon
University in Pittsburgh.

Katy Henry
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Henry has over 15 years of senior level finance and operations experience covering mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and corporate finance with high growth start-ups and large high-tech companies. Prior to joining SkyCross, she served as corporate controller and treasurer of AuthenTec, Inc., a semiconductor company focused on biometric fingerprint solutions for handheld and personal computing markets, where she was instrumental in the successful completion of its initial public offering in June 2007. Ms. Henry created and led Intersil Corporation’s worldwide outsourced manufacturing organization in which she developed key strategic partnerships which contributed significant cost savings to the company. In addition, she held various business unit controller positions where she targeted and led several M&A related activities and supported its highly successful IPO in 2000. She held various financial positions with Harris Corporation in which she led turnaround activities on three major government contracts. Ms. Henry earned a B.S. in Accounting from Rollins College.
Young-Min Jo, Ph.D.
President of East Asia
Dr. Jo has extensive experience in the
wireless industry, specializing in RF theory, measurement, and
design. Prior to joining SkyCross, he worked on a smart antenna
program funded by the U.S. Air Force as a lead researcher in the
antenna systems laboratory at Florida Institute of Technology.
He also has served in a variety research and product development
positions with Samsung Electronics and Mac Trans International.
He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Korea University
and master's and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Florida
Tech. Dr. Jo owns more than 10 issued and pending U.S./international
patents. He also has written several articles on RF technology
and measurement and antenna design for a variety of industry publications.
Charles A. Riggle Vice President of Marketing and Business Development
Mr. Riggle is a 20 year wireless industry veteran who has played a significant role in driving the development and introduction of 4G wireless broadband systems. Prior to joining SkyCross,
Mr. Riggle held the position of
senior director of strategy and business development at Motorola, where he led the WiMAX CPE product management team to establish the company as a market leader in WiMAX subscriber devices.
Mr. Riggle came to Motorola by way of a $900M investment between Motorola, Intel, and Clearwire that resulted in the acquisition of NextNet Wireless, a pre-WiMAX start-up that introduced the first OFDM based NLOS broadband wireless access platform. As
vice president of marketing and business development at NextNet, Mr.
Riggle was instrumental in securing key customer relationships, managing the product portfolio strategy and positioning the company for acquisition. Earlier in his career,
Mr. Riggle held management roles in marketing, product management, and development at key public and private wireless companies including ADC Telecommunications and ITS Corporation.
Mr. Riggle holds a
bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from West Virginia University.
Paul Tornatta
Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Tornatta has more than 25 years of experience the aerospace, wireless,
telecommunications and automotive industries. Prior to joining
SkyCross, he served as vice president of the automotive business
unit at Radiall Corp., a leading supplier of RF interconnect
products. He also served in a variety of leadership positions at
Larsen Antenna Technologies, Metricom, and Lockheed Martin. Mr.
Tornatta earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from New
Mexico State University. He has written articles on RF design and
electromagnetics for a variety of RF trade publications. He is
a member of IEEE and the Society of Automotive Engineers.
