SkyCross Wins Top Award from Economic Development Commission

MELBOURNE, Florida, September 20, 2001 — SkyCross Inc., a leading developer of advanced wireless antenna solutions, took top honors at the Industry Appreciation Awards presented by the Florida Governor’s Office and the Space Coast Economic Development Commission. SkyCross was named the Overall Winner of in the Small Manufacturer category at the awards banquet held Wednesday, September 19, 2001, recognizing significant local companies.

SkyCross and five other categorical winners were recognized for creating more than 1,346 jobs in the local area. The recognition was part of the Economic Development Council’s annual Industry Appreciation celebration — an event that falls during the annual state-sponsored Industry Appreciation Week. The week is designated by the governor’s office to honor new and expanding manufacturers and high-tech companies.
