SkyCross 5.25 GHz Antenna Selected
by Bermai to Deliver High-Speed Wireless LAN Connectivity
MELBOURNE, Florida, September 23, 2002 SkyCross, a leading
developer of advanced wireless antenna solutions, and Bermai, Inc.,
pioneer of ultra-integrated single chip OFDM (orthogonal frequency
division multiplexing) on CMOS systems for wireless LAN and fixed
wireless access applications, announced today that the SkyCross
5.25 GHz antenna will be integrated into Bermai's CardBus reference
designs for high-speed IEEE 802.11a wireless applications.
SkyCross' embedded antennas are designed for a variety of wireless
communications, including high-speed data devices powering 802.11
wireless solutions. For its 802.11a family of ultra-integrated
single chip systems, Bermai selected the SkyCross 5.25 GHz monopole
antenna to provide Bermai customers the highest level of performance
in wireless connectivity.
