SkyCross Names Christopher Morton
As Chief Executive Officer
MELBOURNE, Florida, December 17, 2002 SkyCross Inc., a leading
developer of advanced RF and antenna technology, announced today
that Dr. Christopher H. Morton has joined the company as President
and Chief Executive Officer.
Morton, who has previously served as the company's Chairman of
the Board, has 25 years of entrepreneurial and corporate leadership
experience in the communications infrastructure industry, and a
proven track record in developing highly successful start-ups.
Morton will be responsible for enhancing SkyCross' newly established
presence in the mobile phone and wireless data markets, developing
upon the company's recent contract and reference design wins.

Prior to joining SkyCross, Morton was Executive in Residence with
MILCOM Technologies a developer of technology companies in partnership
with defense contractors, commercial companies, federal laboratories
and other leading-edge research and development sources. His role
at MILCOM was to launch new communications companies. In this capacity,
he served as the initial CEO to initialize business operations,
recruit the senior-level management team, engage potential customers
and partners, and secure venture funding. He has also served on
the board of several of other companies in the communications space.
Morton's most recent MILCOM initiative was to successfully form
and launch TelASIC, a high speed, mixed signal chip company in
the wireless industry. TelASIC received nearly $23M in initial
funding from several top-tier venture firms.

Prior to joining MILCOM, Morton served as President of Allen Telecom
Systems, a company that distributes, designs and manufactures wireless
infrastructure equipment, and was Chief Strategy Officer of Timeplex,
a worldwide leader in the design, manufacture, implementation and
support of multinational wide-area networking systems and services.
Morton also founded and served as CEO for Navesink Communications,
a communications company created to provide efficient access transport
products to cellular and Internet service providers.
In addition, Morton has held a variety of leadership positions
with AT&T., including serving as General Manager in the data
networking area and Director of broadband networking. He also held
a variety of technical and management positions within Bell Laboratories.
Morton earned a Ph.D. in communication systems from the University
of Pennsylvania.
