in this Region
Shenzhen, China-based Team to Provide Real-time
Response to Increased
Customer Demand
MELBOURNE, Florida/SHENZHEN, China, February 15, 2005 - SkyCross,
a leading developer of advanced RF and embedded antenna solutions,
announced today that it has opened its second technical design
and manufacturing center in the Asia-Pacific region to provide
local support for these customers. The new design center is in
response to SkyCross' expanding handset and WLAN customer base
in the region. SkyCross opened its first Asian office in Korea
and continues to increase its presence with this office in China.
SkyCross designs and manufactures wireless embedded antennas based
on patented Meander Line technology to produce efficient antennas
for mobile, satellite and fixed wireless telecommunications, telematics,
and mobile computing markets. The SkyCross antennas are highly
efficient and have the greatest possible bandwidth for their compact
size. Developed to be integrated directly into the manufacturer's
product, these antennas enable sleeker, more advanced designs.
"Asia continues to make huge strides in the wireless handset
market as the subscriber base is experiencing tremendous growth," said
Chris Morton, CEO for SkyCross. "Opening this second design
center will allow SkyCross to best serve our customers in Asia,
meeting the growing need for superior antenna performance and fast
response times. This office is just another demonstration of our
commitment to our Asian customers as we plan to open additional
offices in other strategic locations." About
