isolated mode antenna technology
iMAT is a revolutionary technology that enables a single antenna structure to behave like multiple antennas through the use of multiple feed points. Each feed accesses the antenna as if it consisted of multiple antennas, each with high isolation, low correlation, and high per-feed antenna efficiency. The resulting improvement in antenna gain and receiver sensitivity significantly enhances device performance and network capacity.
Data Sheets
iMAT-1010-A Internal 2.3-2.4 GHz
diversity antenna for WiMAX - small enough for a USB dongle
iMAT-1015-A Internal 2.5-2.7 GHz
diversity antenna for WiMAX - small enough for a USB dongle
iMAT-1020-A Internal 2.3-5.9 GHz
diversity antenna for WiFi/WiMAX - small enough for an Express34 card
iMAT-1030-A 824-2170 MHz diversity antenna - small enough for an Express34 card
This is just a small sampling of applications for iMAT. The
technology makes diversity or MIMO system possible, even in instances where the industry had long ago decided such implementation was impossible due to space constraints. iMAT supports legacy networks and is essential for next generation protocols such as HSxPA, WiMAX, 802.11x, and LTE that require diversity or MIMO.
Any wireless device including handsets, smartphones, data cards, USB dongles, laptops, personal navigation devices, cameras, gaming devices, and more can now take advantage of advanced antenna techniques for voice, data, location, and video applications while maintaining their sleek designs.
